i don't know what it is, but 2 days ago, you decided that you no longer like being held by anyone other than me or daddy. is it because you love us so much?
daddy went back to work on friday and i was going to meet up with some friends so i dropped you off at lola mimi's and you cried so much. i tried to feed you, i changed your diaper, but still you kept crying. i felt bad for leaving you but lola said you would be fine. so i went and enjoyed myself guilt-free! but daddy picked you up after work and when i got home, you were already asleep.
today was a really busy day for us. first we went to visit some friends for breakfast in chula vista, then we met up with my cousins for lunch. then we came home and i was tired and wanted you to sleep so i could sleep so i tried to nurse you to sleep but you stayed awake and i just fell asleep. you eventually fell asleep though!
we then went to uncle rick's bday party and you got to meet him, uncle dexter, and uncle romy and a bunch of their friends. everyone said you were so cute and they wanted to hold you but every time they tried, you would just cry until daddy held you again. oh baby.
we got home pretty late, around 8:30 and i fed you and got you ready for bed. you fell asleep right away. this was the first you have gone to bed on your own without crying. sigh. it just makes me and daddy so happy (and relieved).
